Litigation & Expert Witness Inspection

When some problems reach the point that legal action may be the only alternative, a higher level of inspection, research and report writing is necessary. This is where our expert witness inspection services are useful.

Home Inspections are performed to different scopes and standards depending on the specifics of that project. A typically Structural / Mechanical inspection that is pursuant to a Real Estate transaction is performed to a standard established by the Texas Real Estate Commission. There are numerous national and professional standards that could be used to inspect different components and systems for improvements in real property.

The different scope of the inspection may preclude additional research, testing and expertise that exist at a higher level. Inspections that are disclosed as part of legal proceedings require this higher level of inspection and reporting. Often the inspection report may lead to Expert Witness services needed for deposition and trial. A biography of Jim Hemsell is available on this website. A more detailed Curriculum Vitae available upon request.

Each system, component or property will need to be bid on an individual basis. Litigation and expert witness inspection services are available at the rate of $200/hr.
